Preparatory meeting for Global Call for Action and World Social Forum South Asia

Preparatory meeting for Global Call for Action and World Social Forum South Asia was organized in Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu on January 15,2008. The meeting discussed on contribution of Nepal for successful organizing of South Asian World Social Forum. It also discussed that there will be candle lighting event organized on January 26 at Mandala to mark Global Call for Action and press conference will also be organized on January 22 to mobilize media in this campaign of "another world is possible". It was decided that there will be World Social Forum National Assembly on January 28 to ensure strong plans and strategies for activating role of Nepal in this global campaign.
